Biography

As a web builder, strategist and consultant, Nick Valentino is The Guy with the Answers to the Mysteries of the Web®. He is the worry-free, top quality choice for business owners who are unsure about how to get tangible business results from their web strategy.

Nick builds websites that deliver business results to owners. He learned his craft after the lessons of the tech bubble in 2000 — so he is determined that your site delivers real substance and value to your customers, not just fluff and flashy graphics.

Nick can explain things to his clients at any level of sophistication. He knows his stuff inside out, but, understanding that not everyone is so comfortable with the mysteries of the web, he has a No Geekspeak Guarantee®.

Nick’s work experience spans the corporate and entrepreneurial domains. As an Account Executive with G/Comm Marketing, Nick managed promotional campaigns for national brands, led development teams for point-of-purchase and in-store collateral, and developed children’s marketing programs. He also led teams of creative and development staff on a variety of large-scale web projects — designing and building websites and the databases that make them run.

Nick has built websites and Internet tools for organizations in many industries including sports management, manufacturing, health services, and independent professionals, to name a very few. Notable clients include Scotiabank, Montana’s Restaurants, Kinetico Quality Water Systems, Pioneer Steel, Vogel of Canada, Certificates Express, and a number of professional baseball teams — among them the Portland Beavers and Brockton Rox.

Drawing upon his comprehensive skills, education and experience, Nick sees and understands the whole picture — meaning he will expertly handle every detail of your website deployment.

In 1997, Nick graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. The next year, he went on to receive his Masters in English Literature from the University of Toronto — and since that time has guest-lectured there on the topic of online advertising. In 2002, Nick graduated from the renowned Centennial College Centre for Creative Communications with a Certificate in Web Programming.

Nick lives in a second-floor apartment above a strange antique store in Toronto. He shares his living space with his two tortoiseshell kittens, Java and Cocoa.

MY NO GEEKSPEAK GUARANTEE®

I’m a straightforward person. Unfortunately, the Internet and its technology aren’t always as understandable as I am.

Fortunately, I know my stuff well enough to explain it to you at any level of sophistication. When I talk to you about your website, I guarantee that you will understand what I’m saying and how it affects your business.
